7 Activities to help your child build up a positive attitude

The moment we born, our home become school and parents become our first teacher. We start learning about the world moving around us. We learn all fundamental lessons to lead our life happily; we learn what is right and what is wrong, what is acceptable for us, and what is not acceptable. Home is the first place where a child learns their very first activity or lesson under their parent’s observations. Kids learn through their experiences and play with their friends and adults.

1. Loving-Kindness Meditation

Connect your child in loving humanity meditation. It involves thinking about their loved ones and sending positive thoughts to them. They can begin with four traditional phrases that are:-

  • May you feel safe.
  • May you feel happy.
  • May you feel healthy.
  • May you live with ease.

2. Helping others

By helping others they can learn to grow up to be a humble and better person. Parents should teach their kids to assist elderly persons or maybe helping a friend with homework or a drawing project. They can assist their mothers in serving food on the dining table.

3. Recording awe moment

Help your child to create an awe journal, in that journal they will maintain a record of sights or moments from their daily life that they found something extraordinary or beautiful from their perceptive. They can record anything that they like when their mom is baking some fresh cookies or dad is looking funny while shaving or maybe a beautiful rainbow. They can make a record by drawing on a paper or some rhyming lines or maybe writing the whole thing on a paper.

4. Setting or achieving goals

By setting up small goals and achieving the goals, children can build up their self-esteem it also gives them a sense of purpose. It also helps them to make better decisions in life and to be more focused. Kids who set their goals can do better in life by knowing fact where they are best and where they have to focus more.

5. Sharing positivity

Parents should share some positive experiences with their children so that they can learn to deal with different things accordingly. Spend some good time with your child and make them laugh ask about their friends and their favorite anime character. Laugh with your child and try to share some positive experiences together.

6. Developing new skills and trying new activities

By trying new activities or developing new skills you can recognize your Child’s strength; it is an opportunity to grow them in the right direction. It also helps them to find out that particular activities in which they can do much better. You can try a new fun activity with your child in terms of increase your shared positive experiences.

7. Practicing positive affirmations

Help your child to come up with affirmations that can be short n simple, positive, and in the present tense like I am kind, I am humble, I am enough, I will give respect to everyone, I will treat everyone with courtesy. Instead of ordering them to follow instructions, try to treat them playfully and gently. Kids are fun-loving they like to learn everything with great fun.
