Help your child to learn the four skills

When we talk about anyone who ‘speaks’ a language fluently and perfectly, we generally mean that the person is good enough in all four skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing. A teacher knows very well about the strengths and weaknesses of a student. A school plays an important role in refining these skills and encourage a student to learn several activities so that they can lead a successful life. On the other hand, fluency in English is such an important skill in the global world, and it is required in so many different contexts, that someone lacking a good ability in all four skills will really lose the opportunities available to them in education and professional life. If a child is lacking the ability parents must encourage them to spear first whether correct or wrong firstly they have to speak. It may possible some kids will find it hard to speak English. While some are shy and feel hesitant. Some children don’t want to speak because they don’t want to make mistakes. As a parent or an elder brother or sister, you can help them to feel more confident by creating a positive, cheering, and encouraging atmosphere at home. By creating that kind of environment you will help them to speak at least without any hesitation.

Allow them to make mistakes:-

Let them understand that making mistakes is a very normal and important part of learning a language and it is allowed to make mistakes. Everyone indeed makes mistakes at times – it’s how we learn gradually. Let them learn in their own way don’t pressure them or express disappointment if your kid is not ready to speak yet. Apart from speaking and reading writing is also very much important. Writing allows anyone to write their thoughts into text without forgetting what they want to express. If you want to correct your child don’t correct them every time or don’t interrupt them every single time. Just wait until they finish their work then very gently say the word and tell them to pronounce it correctly so that they can learn without any hesitation. The more we listen the more we learn how to pronounce and the more we write we will learn how to write. Many kids are more motivated to learn any language or English if they like cartoons in English,  English-speaking music, films, or books. It may possible that your child has a toy version of a favorite cartoon character or an English-speaking cartoon movie. Encourage your child to speak English that his toy or maybe friend only understands English. Start a conversation then encourage your child to continue the conversation. Sometimes appreciation is important to grow in the right direction. Allow them to discuss and express what kind of problem they are facing so that you can help and correct them gently to encourage their interest in other languages.
